My style doesn't really belong in a category. Is it retro? Primitive? Industrial? Minimalist? Modern? Well, yes it is.
I can't put my own original style in one "box" and you shouldn't either. When we do that we are so limited. And limits are something I don't believe in.
It took me years to find my own original style, I didn't find it in a magazine, I didn't find it in a scrapbooking store, I didn't find it by watching the Style network. I found it by looking inside myself and asking truthfully "hey, do I like this?". And if I do, it's part of my original style. Simple as that.
Celebrate your own original style, even if no one likes it but you. Its part of what makes you you.

We have an amazing resource at our fingertips. The internet. Here we can find ideas, information, inspiration and stores that sell everything under the sun. You can also find stores that will sell you expensive, imported things that you can make at home with the right tools.
Things that we make with our own two hands become treasures to our friends and family. The next time you see something fun, ask yourself "can I make this myself"? Chances are you can.

never EVER give up. never.
Life throws crazy things our way on a daily basis. And sometimes it makes us lose sight of what we live life for. Never give up on your creative outlets - and if something doesn't work out for you just move on.
Are you less of an artist because you are a year behind with your scrapbooks?
No. Move on - never think that you have to be current on your projects for it to be worthwhile. Don't let that become a roadblock on your creative journey.
Are you less of an artist because you don't have the "perfect" paper to use on a project.
No. Move on - your project will be "perfect" because you did it, not because of what you used to put it together.
Are you less of an artist because your projects/scrapbook pages don't look like your friends'?
No. Move on - you are an artist because your work is original!
