  1. Click on the link provided to you via email to download your Blog Template. It will be in an .rtf file which can be opened in Microsoft Word, Wordpad, Notepad and most other word processing programs. Save it in a safe place on your hard drive, and open your template.


  2. Log In to your Blog account by going to http://www.blogger.com.


  3. Your Dashboard will automatically come up. If your Dashboard says "Posts, Settings, Template" after "Manage" like the picture below, please skip to step 8:


    If your Dashboard says "Posts, Settings, Layout" after "Manage" like the picture below, continue on to step 4:



  4. Click on "Layout" and then click on "Edit HTML":



  5. Below the HTML box, you'll see a link that says "Revert To Classic Template". Click on the link and hit "OK" on any pop up box that comes up:



  6. Now copy and paste the HTML from your Blog Template over the HTML that is in the box and hit the orange "Save Template Changes" button.


  7. You're done and ready to start Blogging!


  8. Click on "Template" and make sure that the "Edit HTML" tag is selected:



  9. Copy and paste the HTML from your Blog Template over the HTML that is in the box and hit the orange "Save Template Changes" button.


  10. You're done and ready to start Blogging!
