Can I add or change the headers on an Auction Template? I'd like something other than "Description", "Payment" and "Shipping".
Yes! Please visit my "Design Add-On" page here. You can purchase additional headers for $2.00 each. You would also purchase a header if you'd like to change, instead of add, a header. So for example if you'd like a template with the headers "Description", "Payment, "Shipping" and "Many Thanks", you would purchase one header. If you'd like a template with the headers "Welcome" (instead of "Description"), "Payment" and "Shipping" you would also purchase one header.

Please remember that if you're purchasing multiple templates and want extra headers (or to change headers) on all of them, you'll want to purchase headers for each template. For example if you buy two templates and want to add or change a header on both of them, you would purchase two headers.

If you sell eBay Auction Templates, why don't you have an eBay store?
I did have an eBay store a while back and I'm proud to say that because of that store, I have many, many repeat customers that have allowed me to start up this website! I like to keep things with my business fairly simple, and having both an eBay store and a website would take time away that I would much rather spend making new designs and tending to my customers. I also have a young family that takes up the majority of my day, so making the most of my time is very important.

What program do you use to write your HTML?
I actually don't use an HTML writer. Several years ago when I was first learning HTML, I took a basic class and the teacher taught us how to do things manually or "old school", without a computer program. The more I learned, the more I kept doing things myself until I could "read" the code pretty easily. Now I can write the HTML for an entire template and/or website completely from memory. This actually works better for my customers - anyone will tell you that the hardest part of using an Auction Template is messing with the HTML. Because I know it so well, I'm able to put my Templates in a format that makes it extremely easy for anyone to use without any HTML knowledge whatsoever.

What are your office hours?
I have very odd office hours, I normally work in the evening starting at 7:00pm Pacific time. I do check my email every day including Saturdays and Sundays and you can expect a response to your email within 24 hours. On the rare occasion that I won't be available for longer than a day, there will be a notice on my website and if you send me an email, you will get an automated response saying when I will return.

Will eBay charge me more to use your Auction Templates?
Not at all. In fact you can save money if you use multiple pictures in your auctions by using auction templates.

What is the difference between an Auction Template and About Me Page?
An About Me page doesn't have the second "box" that an Auction Template does (where your auction title and item's pictures go) and it has only one header, "About Me". For an example of an About Me Page, check out my About Me page on eBay here.

How long and how many times can I use my Auction Template?
You can use your template as long as you want, as many times as you want. When you purchase one of my templates, you can count on the graphics not "disappearing" in the future. I have a very reliable server that I go through and absolutely LOVE my work. So you can count on being able to use your template for many years to come!

Unfortunately not, I’m only offering templates in English to be listed on the eBay US, eBay Canada, and eBay UK websites. I will however change the wording of "favorite" to "favourite" on the links at the bottom for my Canadian and UK Customers.

No. As stated on the website, you are purchasing a non-exclusive right to use the graphics and HTML for the sole purpose it is intended, which is only for an Auction Template. Any other use of the HTML or graphics is strictly prohibited. You can however purchase matching About Me pages, Websets, eBay Storefronts and Blog templates to be used with Blogger.com®! Just find the design you'd like and look below for your purchasing options.

Where do you get the graphics used in your designs?
I love going to antique stores and looking through old photographs, a great deal of my template designs are inspired by a treasure found at my favorite antique shop here in Seattle. I also use vintage images and other photographs that are in the public domain and are without copyright. For my backgrounds, the majority are hand drawn by me in Adobe Illustrator and then texturized or aged in Adobe Photoshop. I also hand draw many other elements in Illustrator and Photoshop.

How long will it take to receive my template?
Your template will be emailed to you within three business days. It is usually much, much sooner than that, but I am a work at home Mom and I never know what my days will throw at me!

Do you do Web Sets, Custom Work or matching Storefronts?
With every design on my site, I offer matching websets and eBay storefronts. Just find the design that you are interested in and look below for all your purchasing options. As far as Custom work goes, I have unfortunately had to step away from doing custom work at this time due to my family's crazy schedule. I can however refer you to Sara at Graphic Pretties. She does custom work and is an AMAZING artist. Tell her that Amybug sent you!

I saw a similar picture on another seller’s auction template, did you steal their image?
Yes. Just kidding, if you see another auction template with the same image as one of my templates, then that image is free from copyright and can be used by anyone. However if you see a very similar design to mine, I would definitely appreciate an email to make sure that another seller isn't "borrowing" my material - I can be reached at AmybugSells@comcast.net.

I'm interested in opening my own website but I have no idea what to do or who to go through. Help!
First of all, congratulations on deciding to open your own website! I have been working with several do-it-yourself website companies throughout the years and when it comes down to it, I hands-down recommend DIYeStores. The customer service is excellent and their website is very user-friendly.

First you need to find what's called a Domain Name. For example, my domain name is http://www.Amybug.com. Next, find out if the domain name is available. You can easily do this by going to DIY's Domain Name website. Type the name you're interested in under "Enter a Domain Name" to see if it's available.

Once you have ordered your Domain Name, you set up an account with DIY. It may take several days to set up your account and during that time, you can look for graphics for your website. All my designs are available as websets (website graphics) and not only am I quick to get them ready for you, I install all your graphics absolutely free of charge.

Once your account has been set up with DIY, you'll receive an email with "DIY Website Login Info" in the subject line. All you need to do is forward that to me and I can install your graphics for you. And don't stress about trying to think of all your buttons now, if you ever need another graphic or button for your store, just let me know! I'm always here to help.
